Wheel Chair Bound Boy Turned Super Hero

D.J. who was left wheelchair bound by a near-drowning accident had a Halloween he will never forget. A group of students from Central Gwinnett High School in Georgia helped turn D.J. Johnson’s wheelchair into a real-life super hero costume. Partnering with the Magic Wheelchair program and staff from Georgia Tech, D.J.’s wheel chair was transformed into a state of the art Black Panther vehicle. D.J. said, “It was amazing!” D.J.’s mom, Chiquita Johnson, said the heartwarming deed has left them overcome with gratefulness. The groups took over 60 hours to build D.J.’s unique costume.
